The GMO Seralini website is owned and maintained by a group of concerned citizens and scientists.
The purpose of the site is to provide citizens, the media, and scientists with a one-stop resource for information about the research of Professor Gilles-Eric Séralini and colleagues on genetically modified foods and their associated pesticides.
Séralini is professor of molecular biology at the University of Caen, France, and president of the scientific board of CRIIGEN (Committee of Independent Research and Information on Genetic Engineering).
The research conducted by Séralini’s team has serious implications for public health and the environment and should be addressed rationally and on scientific grounds. We aim to address and correct many of the misleading statements that have been made about the research of Séralini’s team.
We do not claim that this website is the final word – or even our final word – on Séralini’s research. As the discussion evolves, we shall update it. We welcome respectful comments from people of all viewpoints.
Professor Gilles-Eric Séralini, his colleagues, and the organizations with which they are affiliated have no connection with the owners or editors of this website and bear no responsibility for its content.
Quotes from various scientists are included. These scientists have no involvement in this website and are not responsible for its contents. Our use of their quotes does not imply that they endorse the website or its contents.
